The Cruze Diesel 2.0-liter engine is based on the one of the same size used in Europe, but many changes have been made including a new intake manifold, throttle body system and ceramic glow plugs. The fuel system was also modified to run at 1,600 PSI instead of the 2,000 PSI they see in Europe. Changes in the emissions programming were also

I also have a Mazda 3 and the same happens. You might also feel a strain on the engine in that it is not as responsive.
There wasn’t much wrong with the old 1.6-litre diesel engine, but now it’s quieter and more efficient than ever. Video: watch CarBuyer's video review of the Mazda 3. More reviews. Car DPF delete - Diesel Tuning Australia. DPF or Diesel Particulate Filter acts as an exhaust system for the diesel-oriented vehicles to trap smoke and soot formed by the combustion of the engine. The DPF is really important for the diesel manufacturers to maintain the emissions standards. But these filters have some drawbacks as well.

3. Used the STP Diesel additive for the DPF cleaning - it helped to increase maybe the reg interval to 100-110 km. 4. Used hydrogen intake cleaning - it reduced the consumption average from 9 l/100 km toward 8 l/100 km (example: at 90kmh it shows 5.2-5.3 l/100) but I did not improved the regeneration intervals. 5.

On my first mazda 6 with 2.0 diesel engine, one of the injectors was that bad, that car was stuttering while driving, but the regeneration interval was far from being halved. And consumption at that time was 0.5l higher. What is the 'normal' regeneration interval on mazda 3? 200km?
